Project overview

The THCA synthase is the enzyme catalyzing the last step of the THCA biosynthesis in the plant Cannabis sativa. In this project, the THCA synthase is recombinantly expressed in yeasts for purification and subsequent biochemical and functional characterizations. In future, the potential of yeasts for THCA production shall be investigated.
