Axel Prinz

Protein purification with aqueous two-phase extraction.

Area: downstream processing
Project Start: 1.04.2010
Supervisor(s): Prof. Dr. Andrzej Górak, Prof. Dr. Gabriele Sadowski
University: Dortmund

Axel Prinz studied biochemical engineering at TU Dortmund and finished his degree in 2009 with the Diploma thesis "Thermodynamic properties of electrolytes in alcohol/water-solutions". His doctoral thesis at the Laboratory of Fluid Separations focussed on the partitioning of proteins in aqueous two-phase systems. Axel defended his thesis in April 2014 and started to work as a process engineer for a multnational chemical company in Germany.
