GC-students donate to charity

Students from the CLIB Graduate Cluster Bielefeld held their annual Christmas party and charity tombola on 20 December 2012. At this festive party, the students organized traditional Glühwein, Kinderpunch, cookies, and the spirit of giving.

Each year, CLIB GC students organize a Christmas party for the local working groups to bring people together for holiday cheer. At this event, prizes donated by local and biotech businesses were raffled in a tombola. In total, €850 was raised thanks to the generosity of CeBiTec colleagues and affiliated groups. On Monday, 21 January 2013, members of the organizing committee of the Christmas party and Tombola (pictured) donated the money raised to the “Kinderhospiz Bethel” (www.kinderhospiz-bethel.de) via Frau Kirchner of the human resources department.

We wish to express our sincere thanks again to all those involved in the organization of this event and to all those who donated to help make this gift possible.
