Call for abstracts - Young Microbiologists Symposium at University of Dundee

This symposium is intended to bring together graduate students and early-career postdoctoral researchers to discuss their current research and hear about other topical work in the field. The two-day programme ( (2nd-3rd June 2014) will include seminars by 14 invited speakers, a poster session involving all participants, and opportunities for social interaction. There will be four seminar sessions, lead by a senior internationally-regarded scientist and covering highly topical areas of prokaryotic molecular microbiology:

  • Gene regulation and intracellular signalling
  • Structure, biogenesis and transport across membranes
  • Microbe-microbe interactions
  • Host-microbe interactions - pathogenesis and commensalism

Please contact your supervisor if you are interested in taking part in the Symposium. Find more details in the following link: http://www.lifesci.dundee.ac.uk/other/yms/
