More

Armin successfully defended his thesis in May 2015 and received his doctorate degree from Bielefeld University.

Project overview

The high-throughput sequencing of cDNA libraries (RNA-Seq) is the state-of-the-art technology for transcriptome analysis. In the course of this project, an operative workflow and a comprehensive analysis platform for RNA-Seq with methods for normalization, quantification and validation shall be generated and used to build transcriptome maps of various industrially relevant microorganisms such as Corynebacterium glutamicum. Transcriptome analysis of industrially relevant bacteria by next-generation sequencing.
